I’ve been cutting my costs to the bone. That should always be the first move when bills exceed income. Please do not raise my taxes.
I have noticed in the last few years that everyone realized that people
had more money in their pockets and everyone wanted some of it. Every
time I would cut a cost, someone else would raise their rates. I work
for a small business and they are teetering on the edge, too. Years
ago the public survived without all the government programs that exist
today. Government was never intended to meet every need in our
society. Give us roads, major infrastructure, and protect us from
crime. Let us decide how to live the rest of our lives and let us keep
our money to do that.
